Commercial Integrator BEST award

MAHWAH, NJ, June 12, 2013 – Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, has earned a Commercial Integrator BEST award in the Interactive/Video Whiteboards category for the company’s AQUOS BOARD interactive display systems.  A panel of editors from Commercial Integrator, a publication dedicated to addressing the business needs of professional integrators, chose the winners and made the announcement at InfoComm 2013.

Available in 60, 70, and 80-inch screen class sizes, the AQUOS BOARD interactive display systems boast bright, brilliant color images for greater communication power and high impact signage. The boards’ versatility and collaborative technology are ideal for enhancing business meetings, teleconferences, and presentations; as well as training and classroom instruction.

“At Sharp, we’re dedicated to making our customers’ lives easier. The AQUOS BOARD interactive display systems can seamlessly augment communication in a variety of settings, by enhancing easy, intuitive, collaboration or ensuring messages and images are displayed the most impactful and interactive way possible,” said Mike Marusic, Senior Vice President, Business Solutions Group.  “We are thrilled that this series has been recognized for these industry-leading capabilities and technology.”

Sharp’s AQUOS BOARD interactive display systems integrate a highly accurate touch screen with a large format, Full HD LED Display to provide a powerful, but easy-to-use platform to help users better communicate, collaborate and disseminate information.  Using open standards, these products seamlessly integrate into the customer’s existing infrastructure, thereby reducing implementation cost and driving adoption rate.

Sharp is displaying the award-winning AQUOS BOARD interactive display systems at this year’s InfoComm show, along with other leading technology, including the company’s ultra-high resolution IGZO technology. Sharp will also show its energy efficient and ultra-slim new PN-U series, which is fully compatible with Sharp’s digital signage software, as well as its 90-inch class PN-R series – the world’s largest professional grade LED.
