Mahwah, NJ – June 13, 2013 – Doug Albregts, President, Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, has been invited to deliver the keynote address at the June BTA Mid-America meeting, Cruise to Success, to be held June 17-18 in Chicago. At this meeting, Albregts will explore the new landscape facing the channel and what manufacturers and dealers can do to help protect and transform their collective business.
“The industry has seen dramatic reduction and consolidation over the past decade,” said Albregts. “To survive in a rapidly changing environment where virtualization is becoming the norm, manufacturers and dealers alike need to embrace new business models to enhance operational efficiencies, drive better business practices, and expand channel opportunities for growth.”
