SHARP® Sets The Stage for a Blockbuster Experience with its 2013 National Dealer Meeting

11/11/2013

MAHWAH, NJ, Nov. 11, 2013 – Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, is hosting its National Dealer Meeting on November 11-14, 2013 in Orlando, FL. Sharp’s flagship dealer event will show off exciting new business opportunities and groundbreaking technologies that differentiate the brand from its competition. Participants will hear directly from Sharp senior executives, attend informative educational seminars, and visit the impressive Product Showcase featuring the company’s award-winning product lineup, partner program member initiatives, and latest Sharp innovations.

At last year’s meeting, Sharp introduced its Irresistible Force theme; laying the foundation for Sharp evolving into an irresistible partner for its dealers. This year’s theme, Tour de Force, continues Sharp’s journey as it brings its message to its customers.

Tour de Force embodies everything we strive to do at Sharp: innovate, evolve, and remain at the forefront of the industry,” said Doug Albregts, President, Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America. “This year’s National Dealer Meeting focuses on the evolution of the industry and how Sharp stays ahead of the curve by identifying ways for our dealers to transform their business models.”

In keeping with this year’s theme, Sharp will offer its dealers a first-hand glimpse at many of the innovations it plans to release in the coming months, including two brand new lines of workgroup MFPs.

New Family of Versatile MFPs Offer Greater Flexibility
At the 2013 National Dealer Meeting, Sharp will unveil a family of six mid-high monochrome workgroup MFPs. The new Advanced Series and Essentials Series document systems make it easy for businesses to choose the performance and features best suited for their work environment. Equipped with Sharp’s cutting-edge 10” tablet-style touchscreen, wireless networking, and retractable keyboard, the Advanced Series (MX-M365N, MX-M465N, MX-M565N) is Cloud Portal Office ready and designed for customers with sophisticated workflow environments who need enhanced performance at speeds of 36ppm, 46ppm and 56ppm. The Essentials Series (MX-M364N, MX-M464N, MX-M564N) is designed for cost conscious customers who require high performance, without all the features of Sharp’s Advanced Series. The Essentials Series offers full multifunction capability similar to competitive models (standard copying, network printing and network scanning) at speeds of 36ppm, 46ppm and 56ppm.

New Desktop MFPs – High Productivity in a Compact Design
Sharp’s new color desktop systems offer high functionality in a compact design at speeds of 25ppm and 30ppm. An expansion of the A4 line, this new family of cost-effective desktop document models (MX-C250 and MX-C300) delivers high productivity in a small footprint. Key features include standard copy, PostScript® printing, network scanning, fax and wireless networking.

Anytime, Anywhere Access to Business Content with Cloud Portal Office
Integrating seamlessly with Sharp’s suite of products, Cloud Portal Office provides a convenient way for people to connect to their business content, and easily share and collaborate with team members, whether remotely or in-person. The cutting-edge system built exclusively for businesses provides the ability to capture, index and archive both paper and electronic documents in a single repository. Most importantly, IT administrators can manage and control user access in order to safeguard company data.

In addition to Cloud Portal Office, Sharp will use Tour de Force to highlight advancements in key areas, including its award-winning lineup of interactive display products, and its state-of-the-art service and sales tools.

MICAS – State of the Art Monitoring and Troubleshooting
Sharp is proud to unveil MICAS, a first-of-its-kind cloud service application to help dealerships automate the controlling and monitoring of Sharp business products through real-time service notifications and remote diagnostic capability. This content management system helps take the guesswork out of troubleshooting MFPs, as users can exactly pinpoint issues or errors with the help of printed and video content. For Sharp customers, MICAS increases first call resolution, meaning less business interruption, optimized device uptime and a more efficient service delivery.

“I am excited to host our 2013 Dealer Meeting,” said Laura Blackmer, Senior VP, SIICA Channel Sales, Sharp Electronics. “More than ever, Sharp is committed to being an Irresistible Force as we launch new products and services to better support our customers businesses.”

Sharp would like to thank its VIP and Premier meeting sponsors, including National Joint Powers Association (NJPA) and De Lage Landen (DLL), as well as Wells Fargo, LMI Solutions, Square 9, U.S. Bank, and PaperCut.
