BPO Media Launch Announced; Industry Veterans Form New Media Group
LAS VEGAS – BPO Media announced its entry into the office technology media, publishing and marketing space, taking over publication of industry magazines The Imaging Channel and Workflow. The group is led by industry veterans Patricia Ames, Amy Weiss and Robert Palmer.
“This is a team with many years of experience producing highly respected, top-quality content and analysis for the office technology market,” said Patricia Ames, who serves as publisher and editor-at-large for the group. “We feel privileged to have this new opportunity to leverage these innovative brands and provide top-notch editorial, market intelligence and products and services that enable the industry to stay at the forefront of a fast-moving business environment.”
The Imaging Channel and Workflow magazines will continue production as part of BPO Media’s Office Technology Group. Websites TheImagingChannel.com and WorkflowOTG.com will continue to host the publications as well as the online exclusive blogs, features, news and webinars readers have come to expect. The popular e-newsletters Total Print Solutions and Workflow eReport will be published on an alternating schedule every week, bringing original content and the latest news directly to the community.
“It’s an incredible opportunity to be able to take these products to the next level,” said Amy Weiss, BPO Media’s editor-in-chief. “The Imaging Channel is the leader in the print and managed services industry, and Workflow is really taking off – the positive feedback we’ve gotten from just the initial issues has been phenomenal. What we’re going to bring to the market over the next several months is going to be even more impressive.”
“I am proud to be associated with the remarkable products, people, and strategies that make up BPO Media,” said Robert Palmer of Palmer Consulting, who serves as chief analyst for BPO Media. “It is an incredible and transformative time for our industry, and the challenges ahead will require consistent and comprehensive market intelligence just to keep pace. I am excited about the new level of service, insight, and content we will be able to offer as the future of the office continues to evolve.”
BPO Media also consists of a marketing arm that serves the office technology space. BPO Marketing provides media, communications and marketing services to the office technology industry, building on the vast business, communications and graphics experience of its partners.
“We’ve had so many requests for assistance with marketing campaigns from such a large number of companies, it seemed a natural addition,” said Ames. “Our team’s extensive experience in marketing communications and events uniquely positions us to offer a superior value as the industry grows and develops.
